Step-By-Step Guide To Making A Paper Bunny Craft
Step 1
Download the template and print it on cardstock paper. Alternatively, print it on A4 and glue it to cardstock paper. Folding and keeping the shape will be easier with cardstock papers.
Step 2
Colour the shapes accordingly with a sketch pen or colour pencils. Cut along the solid lines to get the body of the bunny, ears, feet and nose.
Step 3
Take the body of the bunny and fold along the dotted lines to get a box shape. Use craft glue and stick the ends together, forming a box.
Step 4
Take a small paper strip (approximately 5cm) and stick the ends together, forming a loop. Glue it to the front of the body. Stick the nose shape on the top of the paper loop.
Step 5
Draw the eyes just above the nose and stick the bunny feet below the nose.
Step 6
Take another small paper strip (approximately 3cm) and stick one end to the ear.
Repeat the same for the other ear. Fold the strips 90 degrees and glue the other end to the ear strips on the body as shown.
Make sure not to stick the ears on the body. Both ears need to move freely.
Step 7
Take two long paper strips (approximately 20cm). Stick one end of the strip to the end of the ear, and tuck the other end of the strip inside the body.
Step 8
Stick the strips together at the bottom. Leave it for a few minutes until it’s completely dry.
There you go! You have created a beautiful paper bunny. Pull the strips from the bottom to move the bunny ears.
