How to play Simon Says Game
One person has to be Simon. They give the commands, and others need to follow them.
The trick is that they have to follow the command only if you begin the command with “Simon says”. When you don’t start the command with “Simon Says”, they don’t follow the command. If they still take action, they’re out for that round.
For example, if you say, “Simon says, touch your nose”, others need to touch their noses. However, if you say, “Touch your nose”, they should not follow it.
You can start with easy commands to get them warmed up. Commands like “Simon says touch your ears” or “Simon says jump up and down” work great to start.
Keep the game interesting by mixing up the commands. Throw in some funny ones like “Simon says wiggle like a worm” or “Simon says hop like a kangaroo.”
Once they’re getting the hang of it, throw in a command without saying “Simon says.” This is where the fun really starts!
